About LCS

Meet the team committed to health and happiness.

The Place

In 1994, Dr. Ana Maria Lorenz founded Lorenz Consulting Services in a small office in Orange County, CA. Dr. Lorenz observed an increasing need for specialized services that are able to meet the psychological, mental, and behavioral health needs of Southern California children, adults, and families. This need led directly to the creation of LCS Behavioral Health, Inc.

Dr. Lorenz initiated LCS with the assistance of her son, Dr. Ruben Lopez, MD. Their team was joined in 2004 by her second son, Donald Lorenz, RT, who is now a respiratory therapist. In 2015, LCS Behavioral Health expanded its capabilities to the extent that organizational reform was necessary, with the addition of Psychiatrist, Dr. George Kopiloff, MD. A new entity, with an additional focus on ABA services, was formed while maintaining the principal strengths of psychology, psychiatry, and special needs assistance.

Today, the organization has partnered with many professionals who possess a wide variety of skills including psychiatry, psychology, and functional neurology. Our Mental Health team offers therapy for couples, individuals, and families. We treat anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and academic issues related to learning. We specialize in psychotherapy, providing treatment to individuals and caregivers of persons with Parkinson's disease, dementia, and other neurodegenerative disorders.

We also have Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Behavior Interventionists (BIs) on our team, offering therapeutic ABA services for children and adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disorders.

Over the years, LCS Behavioral Health has brought comfort to the lives of hundreds of children and adults, and we look forward to helping hundreds more.
